Today I led my nephews in their first knock-down-drag-out pillow fight. There was a moment of hesitation when the first pillow flew through the air; a moment when part of me said "wait a minute -- is it really a good idea to teach a 4 year old and a 2 year old to beat each other???"
But the moment quickly passed and soon we had stripped the couch of every pillow with which it was donned and were screaming "How do you like this!?!" and "Take that fool!"
The offical assessment: Thanksgiving well done.
